Tatiana Kirchhoff was born in 1988 in Athens, where she grew up. She is a graduate of the Vasilis Diamantopoulos Higher Drama School Theatrika Dromena “Iasmos”, with state-certified examinations by the Greek Ministry of Culture. She is also a graduate of the Faculty of Philosophy at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, holds a Master’s degree in Psychology, and a PhD from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Her first short story collection was published in 2020 by Polis Publications under the title Stories I (Didn’t) Tell My Psychologist. In 2023, she contributed to the collective volume From the Local to the Global (Dioptra Publications) and published her first novel, I Lost Her at the Fair (Dioptra Publications). She has written a total of four theatrical plays. The Boltzmann Equation premiered in 2011, followed by The Anonymous in 2023, Contemporary Tragedies during the 2024–2025 season, and Yukali in the 2025–2026 season. In the years in between, Kirchhoff worked in television and short films. She speaks fluent English, very good Spanish, and Russian. She has strong physical expressiveness, is a Krav Maga athlete, and is capable of performing physically demanding roles. She is also a winter swimmer, and in her free time she enjoys traveling, reading, and caring for animals.
