Yiannis Karageorgopoulos after finishing Highschool in Athens got a degree in a Mechanical Engineering State School.

From 1992 to 1995 he worked as a model all over Europe for various Agencies.

After 1995 he dedicated himself to the acting profession.

He started with Colleen Aylward at Los Angeles, California.

Then he got in the Drama School in Athens, Greece from 1996 to 1998 and worked with awarded Greek actors Kostas Kazakos and Vasilis Diamantopoulos.

In between he took several singing and dancing courses.

From 1998 on he has worked in 5 TV drama series.

In the year 2000 he held the principal role (Ramon) of Terence McNally's play Love Value and Compassion which was awarded with Tony Award in the U.S.

He held the leading role in the film "Olympic Games in Ancient Greece" shown worldwide by Tony Watts, member of the Universal and Sundance Festival.

He also held the leading role in the feature film "Sweet Dreams" which participated in the 2002 Thessaloniki Film Festival.

He speaks English fluently.

He works as a Water Sports Instructor and loves travelling.
