Vina Sergi was born in Kalamata, Greece, in 1995 and she lives in Athens since 2014. In 2018, she graduated from the Drama School Praxi 7. From 2017 to 2021, she studied the method of Actors Studio for film and theatre acting under Andreas Manolikakis. In 2022, she participated in the international workshop of Attis Theatre, “The Method of Theodoros Terzopoulos”, and in 2024 she attended the acting workshop of Giorgos Paloubis at Mikri Akademia. Since 2018, she has appeared as an actress in several short and feature-length films, including The Students of Umberto Primo by Alessandra Mayoletti and Flux by Giorgos Bougioukos, as well as in numerous theatre productions, collaborating with directors such as Irene Fanarioti, Nikolas Androulakis, Irene Ganteri, Stella Michailidou, among others. Alongside her acting work, she frequently creates and performs with her own artistic group. One of her most notable projects to date is the performance “A Very Strong Girl”, presented as part of the Big Bang Festival at the Onassis Stegi. Beyond acting, Vina writes, performs, records and occasionally directs her own texts. Among her works is the single “MOU”, which went viral in 2023. Since 2019, she has been a member of the poetry collective The Bad Poetry Social Club. In recent years, she has performed her texts at major cultural events, including Thessaloniki Pride Festival 2023, TEDxAth AUEB 2024, Live in the Dark at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation (2023), Mystery – 4th Meeting “Culture 2030” as part of Eleusis 2023 European Capital of Culture, a live album presentation at the Athens Concert Hall (Megaron Mousikis) by Action Esti, Rudu Festival, Ziria Festival, Technopolis City of Athens, Sardam Festival (Cyprus), among others. |
